A busy three-way intersection in Northern Westchester was closed for hours following a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and SUV Friday afternoon.

The closure occurred at the intersections of Chapel Road, North Salem Road (Route 121) and Waccabuc Road (Route 138).

Nearby, just after 6 p.m., Mark Mead Road in Cross River was closed at the intersection of Route 35 following a crash.
